Coppermaker Square | Westfield Stratford | Portfolio

Project Details

Client: URW
Location: Westfields, Stratford

We are delighted to share the completion of the design and build of the resident’s amenities at the Coppermaker Square, residential development next to the prestigious Westfield Stratford City shopping centre.

The development will deliver a £650m Private Rented Sector (PRS) residential scheme, adjacent to one of the Group’s London flagship destinations, Westfield Stratford City. It will be one of London’s largest single-site PRS schemes.

The amenities include a 25m lap pool finished in the highest quality mosaic tiles and a bespoke spa that includes powerful massage jets, creating individual massage stations for residents. The pool and spa have been constructed with a deck-level detail to create a relaxing overflow and aesthetically pleasing high-end design.

In addition, APP has designed wellness facilities that include a traditional sauna with, an alder wood finish and a bespoke tiled steam room.

‘’PRP have had a positive experience collaborating with Aqua Platinum on the Cherry Park (Coppermaker Square) project in recent years on what is a complex Wellness Spa and Pool Hall design, from advice on the conceptual design through to the on site delivery.

The Aqua Platinum team provided a welcome light hearted approach during a pressured programme and challenging delivery schedule, demonstrating exceptional knowledge of both the aesthetic and design aspects as well as technical and MEP aspects of the pool, vitality pool, steam and sauna room design & delivery.

This included specialised elements such as cutting edge drown detection apparatus. Our Architectural team are pleased with the end results in the delivery of the design on site and the finer details show quality whilst the mutual lasting relationships created will serve both PRP and Aqua Platinum in projects to come. We would not hesitate to recommend the Aqua Platinum team on a pool and wellness project.’’  PRP Architect and Associate Director, Marcus Cubitt.
